Position: Executive Sous Chef – Morton Arboretum
About: Aramark, a leading global provider of food, facilities, and uniform services to various industries including education, healthcare, business, government, and sports, is currently seeking an Executive Sous Chef for the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL. The Executive Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing culinary staff, developing and executing culinary solutions to meet production, presentation, and service standards, and applying culinary techniques to food preparation while managing the final presentation and service of food.
Requirements: Requires a culinary degree or equivalent with 4+ years of culinary experience in a management role; previous experience in high-volume special events culinary operations preferred; advanced knowledge of culinary principles and practices; strong multitasking, organizational, communication, and leadership skills; ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.; availability to work event-based hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
