Position: Executive Sous Chef – Hyatt Regency Milwaukee
About: Hyatt Regency in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to assist the Executive Chef in the efficient operation of food production areas. The hotel provides over 33,000 square feet of stylish event space adjacent to the Wisconsin Center, catering to various events and meetings.
Requirements: At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; 2-year college degree and 3 or more years of related experience, or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 to 2 years of related experience, or a Culinary Degree with 1 to 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; proficient in Windows Operating Systems Company approved spreadsheets and word processing; supervisory experience required; ability to work a flexible schedule; effective problem-solving and communication skills; maintain composure and objectivity under pressure; ability to understand financial information and basic arithmetic functions; must work well in high-pressure situations and handle workplace problems effectively.
