Position: Executive Sous Chef
About: Hyatt Regency Tulsa Downtown is a well-known venue and community staple in Tulsa Downtown, emphasizing exceptional standards and experiences for guests and employees alike. We are seeking an experienced and creative Executive Sous Chef to lead the Culinary team and play a key role in branding and launching a new restaurant at the hotel.
Requirements: 5+ years of relevant experience in a hotel environment with independent restaurants; managing sous chefs and overseeing kitchen staff; coaching, mentoring, and performance management; ensuring proper sanitation procedures and safe food practices; overseeing kitchen operations and event production; strong communication skills and ability to lead teams effectively; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; ability to maintain a professional appearance and handle emergency situations with proper action; team player with multitasking abilities and inspirational leadership skills.
