Position: Executive Sous Chef

About: Restaurant Associates is the industry’s leading provider of dining and event catering for prestigious museums, performing arts centers, and corporations. The Restaurant at Gilder, located in the American Museum of Natural History, is a 90-seat full-service brasserie with a seasonal menu rooted in classic French technique but inspired by American bounty.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; A.O.S. Culinary Arts Degree or equivalent experience and culinary certificate required; Two years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience; Catering experience a plus; High volume, complex foodservice operations experience; Institutional and batch cooking experiences helpful; Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends; Must be experienced with computers including Microsoft Office; ServSafe certified highly desirable
