Position: Executive Sous Chef

About: Desert Diamond Casino in Glendale, Arizona is in search of an Executive Sous Chef to join their team. The Executive Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen areas to ensure the production of a consistent, high-quality product while maintaining sanitation and food standards. This position requires extensive knowledge of Arizona liquor laws and adherence to internal controls set by Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise (TOGE).

Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; culinary degree preferred. Minimum 8 years of kitchen experience including fine dining, buffets, and menu development. Minimum 5 years as a Sous Chef or 2 years as Executive Sous Chef/Chef de Cuisine in a high-volume multi-outlet F&B operation. Knowledge of food preparation, cost controls, and labor management. Must be 18 years or older, pass pre-employment screenings, and obtain/maintain a gaming license. Ability to provide leadership, oversee multiple venues, develop menus, and maintain communication with various departments.
