Position: Executive Sous Chef
About: Executive Dining Room and Client Center at a prestigious financial firm is seeking to hire an Executive Sous Chef. This individual will be the second in command of the kitchen and will manage the operational team in aligning with the Executive Chef’s vision. The ideal candidate should have significant culinary experience, a positive attitude, and a desire for advancement in the culinary field.
Requirements: Significant culinary experience; Minimum 2 years of culinary managerial experience; Culinary school degree or comparable apprenticeship training; NYC DOH certified, ServeSafeFood Handler certified; In-depth understanding of Classic French Cuisine and Global Techniques and Flavors; Skilled with Butchery and kitchen communication; Proficient in various systems and software; Neat, professional appearance and client-oriented attitude
