Position: Executive Sous Chef
About: American Cruise Lines, the largest cruise line in the United States, is seeking Executive Sous Chefs to join the shipboard teams. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of culinary experience in a full-service resort, hotel, or cruise ship; familiar with food safety standards; ability to multitask, take direction, and work well in a team environment; capable of working under pressure while maintaining composure; skilled in problem-solving, self-motivation, and organization; proficiency in reading, understanding, and following basic cooking recipes; effective time management and leadership abilities; strong oral communication and interpersonal skills; willingness to undergo pre-employment drug test and criminal background check; experience in training and teaching culinary skills; availability for a work rotation of 6 to 8 weeks onboard followed by 1 to 2 weeks off.
