Position: Executive Sous Chef

About: American Cruise Lines, the largest cruise line in the United States, is looking to add Executive Sous Chefs to our shipboard teams. Our shipboard team supports a combined fleet of ships sailing through various itineraries across the nation, offering exceptional cuisine prepared by chefs with extensive culinary credentials and training. As an Executive Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating unique dishes for our guests and ensuring high-quality meals for the crew. Working closely with the culinary team, you will maintain kitchen operations to deliver flawless service to guests and crew members onboard.

Requirements: Minimum 3 years of culinary experience in full-service resort, hotel, or cruise ship; ServSafe Manager Certification strongly preferred; Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC); familiar with food safety standards; ability to multi-task, take direction, and work well in a team; effective leader with strong time management skills; excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work under pressure with problem-solving abilities; training and teaching experience; must pass pre-employment drug test and criminal background check
