Position: Executive Sous Chef
About: Boise Centre, Idaho’s premier event venue, is looking for an Executive Sous Chef to help lead their culinary team. Nestled in the heart of vibrant downtown Boise, Boise Centre is Idaho’s largest convention, meeting, and tradeshow facility, hosting over 220 diverse events annually. The venue offers stunning views, exceptional catering, and cutting-edge services.
Requirements: Proven leadership skills and culinary expertise; knowledge of food safety, budgeting, and creative presentation; must have or be willing to obtain a ServSafe Manager Certification within 30 days of hire; strong collaboration skills to work seamlessly across departments; attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; a flexible mindset to adjust to changing workloads and priorities; exceptional verbal and written skills to connect with staff and clients; a drive to deliver WOW-worthy dining experiences; ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds in a high-energy kitchen environment; navigate hot, steamy areas and handle food-grade chemicals; available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
