Position: Executive Sous Chef

About: Crowne Plaza Phoenix Airport is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to coordinate, supervise, and direct all aspects of the hotel’s food production, ensuring profitable F&B operations and high-quality products and service levels. This role involves providing training for staff, meeting corporate quality standards, enforcing food specifications and portion control, and maintaining sanitation standards. The Executive Sous Chef will oversee kitchen operations, control costs, address guest complaints promptly, and ensure compliance with SOPs and health department regulations.

Requirements: A 2-year, 3-year, or 4-year culinary degree and a minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; previous supervisor responsibility required; knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health department rules, liquor laws, and regulations; ability to handle long hours and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally; strong communication and multitasking skills; proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making; compliance with hotel standards and regulations
