Position: Executive Sous Chef

About: The Executive Sous Chefs at Norwegian Cruise Line oversee the management of an assigned galley to ensure high standards are maintained within budgetary limitations, focusing on guest satisfaction and continuous improvement of services. They schedule crew members, provide training on cooking techniques and recipes, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. The role involves collaborating with other departments, participating in inspections, implementing new initiatives, managing costs, and reporting to the Executive Chef.

Requirements: Minimum of three years experience as an Executive Chef in a medium size cruise ship or luxury hotel; Advanced level English verbal and writing skills; Intermediate to Advanced skills in typing and computer software; Bachelors degree or foreign equivalency in a related culinary discipline; Certificate of completion in a recognized culinary institution; Advanced Certification in Sanitation and Public Health
