Position: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (MARYLAND FOOD CENTER AUTHORITY)
About: The Maryland Food Center Authority (MFCA) is seeking an Executive Director to lead its operations. The Authority operates the Wholesale Produce Market and the Maryland Market Center among other food-related developments in Maryland. The Executive Director oversees strategic planning, financial management, and staff leadership to support the state’s agriculture, seafood, and food sectors.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Agriculture or related fields; at least 7 years of management experience with 3-5 years in leadership roles; in-depth knowledge of the food sector, agriculture, seafood, and distribution; strong leadership and communication skills; demonstrated success in building partnerships with public and private sectors; availability to respond to issues 24/7
