Position: Executive Dining Room Chef

About: Restaurant Associates, a leading provider of dining and event catering for prestigious museums, performing arts centers, and corporations, is seeking an Executive Dining Room Chef to join their team. The role involves overseeing culinary experiences and food production for the restaurant/executive dining room and catering functions, ensuring compliance with HACCP guidelines for safe and sanitary food preparation and presentation.

Requirements: Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience; five to eight years of progressive culinary management experience; strong knowledge of food industry trends, quality goods, production, sanitation, and food cost controls; experience in fine dining or a la carte restaurants; leadership, coaching, and training skills; proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Office; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to lift up to 40 lbs; knowledge of safe food handling principles; ServeSafe or Department of Health certification preferred.
