Position: Executive Chef – Primary Food Group

About: JO Restaurant Group is currently seeking an Executive Chef to oversee all aspects of kitchen operations in alignment with the direction of the General Manager. The Executive Chef will be responsible for quality service, financial goals, planning, day-to-day operations, and the development and growth of the kitchen staff, ensuring consistency in excellent food creation and execution.

Requirements: B.S. Degree in Food Service Technology/Management or A.A. Degree in Culinary Arts; minimum four years of culinary management experience, preferably upscale restaurant experience; well-developed leadership qualities; in-depth knowledge of front of the house operations; good knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, and cost controls; proficiency in ordering, menu costing, and labor forecasting; exceptional guest relations skills; ability to work a flexible schedule; ability to motivate employees to be proficient at their jobs
