Position: Executive Chef job
About: ASM Global, a leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, is seeking an Executive Chef for the Shreveport Convention Center/Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport, Louisiana. The Executive Chef will work under the direction of the Director of Food & Beverage, overseeing menu design, production planning, kitchen supervision, training, purchasing, cost analysis, and quality control to ensure exceptional food service in line with ASM policies.
Requirements: Certificate from accredited culinary school, college, or technical school; 3 or more years of hands-on experience or Kitchen/culinary supervisory experience; Ability to use and maintain basic food service and kitchen equipment; Strong analytical and mathematic skills; Strong communication skills; Ability to problem solve; Knowledge of computers and relevant software; Current certification in food handling and safety sanitation (Sani-Serve or similar); Ability to work under limited supervision; Flexible hours availability
