Position: Executive Chef job
About: An upscale, independent restaurant with an elevated menu focusing on fresh ingredients, steaks, and seafood, is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead its kitchen operations. The Executive Chef will be responsible for developing dynamic seasonal menus, overseeing kitchen staff training, and ensuring excellence in food preparation and presentation. Key responsibilities include developing unique cuisine, leading pre-shift communications, maintaining kitchen operations, training staff, managing budgets, purchasing, and maintaining cleanliness standards. Additionally, the Executive Chef will work closely with the General Manager to achieve operational efficiency and staff development in a fine dining restaurant setting with a high-end bar and wine program.
Requirements: A culinary arts bachelor’s degree (preferred); 5 years of restaurant experience including 2+ years in management (preferred); experience in new restaurant openings (preferred).
