Position: Executive Chef job
About: Amador and The Bank at Amador is seeking an Executive Chef to lead and elevate their culinary program. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep passion for hospitality, exceptional culinary expertise, and strong operational and administrative skills. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, from menu development and cost management to staff leadership and compliance. The Executive Chef works closely with the General Manager to align kitchen operations with business objectives and reports directly to the Director of Food & Beverage. This role requires a balance of hands-on kitchen leadership and administrative responsibilities to ensure efficiency, consistency, and profitability.
Requirements: 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or equivalent leadership role; Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen management, and menu development; Proven ability to balance administrative tasks with hands-on culinary leadership; Experience with budgeting, food cost control, and vendor negotiations; Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills; Ability to operate and train staff on all kitchen equipment, including fryers, ovens, grills, and slicers
