Position: Executive Chef job
About: An upscale, independent restaurant with a focus on fresh ingredients, steaks, and seafood is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead its kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will be skilled in developing dynamic seasonal menus, overseeing food preparation, and fostering a culture of culinary excellence within the team. Responsibilities include menu development, kitchen operations oversight, staff training, budget management, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen areas. The setting is a fine dining restaurant with a high-end bar and wine program, offering a flexible schedule with weekend and holiday availability.
Requirements: A culinary arts bachelor’s degree (preferred); 5 years of restaurant experience including 2+ years in management (preferred); experience in new restaurant openings (preferred)
