Position: Executive Chef job
About: Hyatt Centric Fisherman’s Wharf is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the Brick & Beam restaurant in the competitive Fisherman’s Wharf food scene. The ideal candidate should be creative, ambitious, and hardworking, ensuring the highest culinary standards and kitchen efficiency. This position offers a starting salary of $100,000 annually.
Requirements: At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field with a 2-year college degree and 3+ years of related experience, or a 4-year college degree with 1-2 years of related experience, or a Culinary Degree with 1-2 years of experience. Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems, Company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing. Supervisory experience required. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Strong communication skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively. Financial acumen to analyze food costs.
