Position: Executive Chef job
About: The Hillsboro Hops, a single-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks based in Hillsboro, Oregon, approximately 15 miles west of Portland. The Hops are known for their success, having won three Championship Titles since 2013 and receiving the prestigious Bob Freitas Award in 2017 for excellence in Minor League Baseball operations. They are currently constructing a new ballpark set to open for the 2026 season, offering High-A baseball games, concerts, community events, and more.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; extensive experience in a high-volume kitchen environment, preferably in large-scale catering or stadium food service; proven leadership and management skills; strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; financial acumen for budget management; ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands; computer literacy; Oregon Food Handlers or Serve Safe Certification; fluent in English; physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs and stand or walk for extended periods; flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per event schedule; available for all stadium events
