Position: Executive Chef job
About: Create innovative comfort food implementing current trends. Create new, innovative and exciting Comfort Food Entrees for Lunch, Dinner and Brunch. Manage a high-volume kitchen overseeing all back of house employees. Responsible for overseeing all food purchasing and maintaining and improving menu item quality. Oversee a rapidly growing catering business and create and train an overnight staff that will prepare ready-to-cook catering dishes and creative platters. Must have tight organizational skills and promote a safe non-hostile workplace environment. This position requires someone open to suggestions and focused on guest satisfaction, without room for big egos. It’s a challenging, fun, and rewarding position, not glamorous.
Requirements: Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts; 7+ years of kitchen experience; Experience in leading and supervising junior chefs and cooks; Experience working within budget constraints
