Position: Executive Chef job
About: Lutheran Medical Center located in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Executive Chef to oversee the culinary operations and food service production within the facility. The Executive Chef will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and standards of food production for the Nutrition Services department, coaching and mentoring the culinary team.
Requirements: Food Handler Permit (as required by State) or ServSafe certification required by first day of work; Demonstrated business and financial skills in restaurant or healthcare foodservice industry; Demonstrated creative and appealing recipe and menu development skills and culinary skills; Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; Proficiency in using word processing, spreadsheet and database applications, internet and e-mail, scheduling applications, and computerized tracking systems; Associates degree in Culinary Arts preferred or 3 years of culinary leadership experience as a sous chef or similar role within Intermountain Facilities preferred
