Position: Executive Chef job
About: Thanksgiving Point is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering gratitude within the community through the power of curiosity, science, and the arts. Their mission is to uplift the children of Utah by engaging them in STEM-related experiences. Thanksgiving Point aims to create welcoming and valued experiences for all visitors through their complex of gardens, museums, and farms.
Requirements: Culinary Arts degree and/or bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum 3-5 years’ experience as Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume multi-unit hotel, resort, or similar properties; strong purchasing and cost control skills; knowledge of culinary contracts, formal culinary education and/or credentials preferred; excellent interpersonal, customer service, financial analysis, communication, team building, and problem-solving skills; physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs, walking and standing without rest for long periods of time, ability to manipulate small objects, climb stairs, and bend; must pass a background check and have a clean driving record
