Position: Executive Chef job

About: The Blackwell Inn is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee and manage all culinary operations for The Blackwell Inn, Pfahl Conference Center, and Rohr Cafe. The Executive Chef will focus on achieving hotel profitability through revenue generation and cost control while upholding the hotel’s mission and setting culinary standards. Responsibilities include food preparation, in-room dining, catering, and menu development to meet guest and employee satisfaction. This position requires hands-on management for a 24/7 operation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; 7 years of relevant experience required, 12 or more years preferred; training from a culinary school and/or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management preferred; 5 years full-time experience in a fine dining restaurant and/or 4-diamond hotel or resort required; strong management skills and the ability to delegate effectively
