Position: Executive Chef job
About: Vi at Lakeside Village is an award-winning luxury senior living community located at 2792 Donnelly Drive, Lantana, FL 33462. They are currently seeking an Executive Chef to lead all aspects of kitchen food production and catering events, ensuring a high-quality dining experience for residents and guests.
Requirements: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in quality Food & Beverage operations management in a high-end restaurant, club, hotel, or senior living company; working knowledge of budgets, reporting, training, and staff management; previous oversight of multiple Food & Beverage venues preferred; experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system preferred; high school diploma or GED equivalent required; Culinary Arts Degree preferred; current state health and sanitation certification required; ability to supervise, hire, train, and motivate staff; knowledge of basic nutrition and healthy cooking techniques; effective communication and team-building skills; Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) and Certified Executive Chef (CEC) designation preferred or ability to become certified; valid driver’s license where applicable; current CPR and First Aid certifications or willingness to become certified
