About: Escape Lounge / CAVU (formerly MAG) is a subsidiary of CAVU – the UK’s largest airport operator. CAVU expanded into the U.S. market in 2015 and, since then, has quickly established a robust services and consulting business, proudly supporting a growing number of airports across the U.S. with a variety of premium services. One of the product lines that CAVU focuses on are their award-winning “Escape Lounges,” a line of premier, common-use airport lounges. The role is for an Executive Chef at the exclusive Escape Lounge located at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX).
Requirements: Must be able to pass a TSA Background Check to obtain an Airport Badge; Previous proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role; Must be 21 years of age or older to comply with the service of alcohol policy; Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization; Must be a team player; Excellent communication and leadership skills; Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Possess the knowledge and skills to operate a computer and booking systems including but not limited to electronic POS systems; Advanced knowledge of food preparation and presentation; Ability to coach, teach, train, and motivate kitchen staff; Ability to maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen
