Position: Executive Chef job
About: Mansions Independent Living is seeking an Executive Chef to join our team! The Dining Services Director/Executive Chef is responsible for managing all aspects of the food service program available at the community, including staffing; inventory/budget control; food handling, preparation, and storage; and sanitation procedures. The Executive Chef oversees the dining department entirely, ensuring staff coverage for all shifts and maintaining food quality up to Resident expectations. This is a salaried position with some weekend work required, expecting 45-50 hours per week.
Requirements: Minimum of 7 years food service experience; minimum 2 years management experience; availability and willingness to work an average of 50 hours per week; strong leadership qualities; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; excellent written and communication skills; strong attention to detail; Bachelor or Associates Degree in Culinary Arts, preferred
