Position: Executive Chef job

About: Continental Services is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the culinary team in daily food production and ensure high food quality standards. The role involves managing staff, training on kitchen procedures, scheduling, and overseeing offsite events to maintain quality. Essential duties include executing meals, conducting line checks, menu development, staff training, inventory management, and achieving financial goals. The Executive Chef will also be responsible for leadership, talent assessment, and employee development, with some non-essential duties at events.

Requirements: Bachelors Degree in culinary or hospitality; five or more years culinary experience required, large kitchen strongly preferred; prior management experience strongly preferred; ServSafe Manager and Allergen certification preferred; advanced knowledge of food preparation practices; ability to prepare a wide range of culinary offerings; excellent computer skills; good communication skills, both verbal and written; professional demeanor, pleasant personality, positive attitude, and neat appearance; ability to maintain and build relationships with clients and industry contacts
