About: Linger, a vibrant establishment located in the charming Lower Highland neighborhood of Denver, delivers a diverse array of global flavors inspired by makeshift kitchens and streetside nooks around the world. Housed in a former mortuary, Linger’s decor combines macabre remnants with posh details, offering a unique dining experience. The rooftop patio, outfitted with a 1975 GMC RV bar and repurposed food truck kitchen, adds an adventurous touch to the dining ambiance.

Requirements: Qualifications: Support the Operations Chef in the daily restaurant operations; Oversee labor and food costs for the back of house; Maintain the established EB culture; Ensure proper documentation and distribution of write-ups; Assist in conducting timely reviews; Lead by example in the kitchen and enforce high standards for all kitchen staff; Organize and maintain recipe and costing systems; Assist with menu development, costing, and recipe creation; Support the General Manager in kitchen-related repairs and maintenance; Ensure daily line taste checks before service; Communicate relevant information efficiently; Execute and oversee high-skilled food production; Delegate effectively in the kitchen; Support the hiring process; Proactively manage the schedule for proper employee coverage; Monitor and manage labor costs effectively; Maintain a sanitary kitchen and oversee cleanliness standards; Attend line-ups and communicate effectively; Contribute to the success of high-volume services; Help with invoice processing and vendor payments; Foster a healthy relationship with the Front of House staff; Inspire FOH with food knowledge and sales skills; Continuously pursue growth and development towards an Executive Chef role.
