Position: Executive Chef, Healthcare Culinary Services
About: At Sodexo, a leading provider of culinary services in healthcare settings, we are seeking an Executive Chef, Healthcare Culinary Services to join our team at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT. Sodexo operates a variety of dining facilities within the hospital, including a room service program transitioning to bedside dining, retail locations, and cafes. The Executive Chef will oversee a team of 80 union employees, ensuring quality assurance, financial success, and team culture.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required; 5+ years of leadership experience in healthcare culinary operations; strong knowledge of union environments; experience managing multi-level teams; expertise in food safety, quality control, and compliance; proven ability to manage budgets, inventory, and procurement; passion for team development and commitment to long-term program growth
