Position: Executive Chef (Healthcare)
About: Marquette General Hospital in Marquette, MI is seeking an Executive Chef with exceptional culinary talent and leadership skills to lead their kitchen staff with a focus on local, sustainable, seasonal, and organic ingredients. The hospital, part of the larger UP Health System, serves approximately 9,000 inpatients and over 350,000 outpatients annually, providing specialty care services.
Requirements: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited culinary program plus 5+ years experience as a sous or executive chef in fine dining, hotels/resorts, country clubs, or healthcare/senior living; computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and ordering platforms; a passion for food, a desire to grow, and a strong work ethic that supports both; willingness to relocate for promotion opportunities
