Position: Executive Chef – Full Service – Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront

About: The Royal Hotel is in search of an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to lead the Culinary Team in both restaurants and catering, ensuring high food quality standards and guest satisfaction while operating within budget guidelines. The Executive Chef will embody a culture of ‘Culinary Excellence’ to uphold the hotel’s reputation as an industry leader and exceed guest expectations consistently. As a key member of the Hotel Executive Team, the Executive Chef will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities in managing staff at various levels within the culinary department.

Requirements: High school diploma/GED required (two-year culinary degree preferred); 7+ years experience in an executive kitchen position; Forbes 4-Diamond Experience Required; Demonstrated knowledge of current restaurant industry trends. Must possess culinary creativity; Possess good leadership and organizational skills; Be proficient in Word and Excel; Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal food sanitation regulations; Comfortable providing direction and supervision to kitchen staff; Ability to work weekends, evening hours, and holidays.
