Position: Executive Chef-Exempt
About: The Lakefront, Anchorage hotel, is looking for a salaried exempt Executive Chef to join their team. Situated on the shores of Lake Spenard, near Anchorage International Airport, this hotel boasts 248 rooms and three food and beverage outlets.
Requirements: Associate degree from accredited college/university in related culinary management program preferred; 3-4 years related experience; at least 2 years of experience in a related role; experience with banquets; knowledge of menu planning, soups, sauces, and meat, poultry, and seafood items; effective oral and written communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with other departments; ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities; effective labor management; patience, tact, and diplomacy; maintain safe work environment; possess current ServSafe certification
