About: The Lakefront, Anchorage hotel is seeking a salaried exempt Executive Chef to join their team. Situated on the shores of scenic Lake Spenard in Anchorage, Alaska, this hotel offers 248 rooms and three exceptional food and beverage outlets.
Requirements: Associate degree from accredited college/university in a related culinary management program preferred, or 3-4 years of related experience; minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role; proficiency in menu planning, soups, sauces, and meat, poultry, and seafood items; effective communication skills; ability to collaborate with other departments and leaders; adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; skilled in labor management and staff assignment; possess ServSafe certification; maintain high standards of safety and sanitation
