Position: Executive Chef at The Joinery Hotel
About: The Joinery Hotel, a Curio Collection by Hilton located in Downtown Pittsburgh, is hiring an Executive Chef. The hotel is a welcoming, 185-room boutique hotel and local gathering place in Downtown Pittsburgh’s Golden Triangle, representing the city’s working class history and distinct culture with a modern edge. Joinery Hotel offers an experiential lobby with a unique check-in experience, a tasting library, meeting and event spaces, and a 10th-floor outdoor terrace with a view of the city. It aims to inspire discovery, build community, and provide a space for leisure and business travelers to explore the Steel City from a local’s perspective.
Requirements: More than two years of post high school education but less than a degree from a four-year college; five to ten years of employment in a related position; advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession; oral and written communication skills, moderate hearing, excellent vision, moderate speech communication skills, excellent comprehension and literacy
