Position: Executive Chef 2
About: Sodexo is seeking an experienced Executive Chef 2 for Texas Southern University located in Houston, TX. This position will assist in overseeing food production operations for two dining halls and a very active campus catering department with over 2,000 students on a university meal plan. The ideal candidate will have skills in conducting inventory, placing orders, providing training to kitchen staff, and handling multiple priorities. They should be able to maintain food and labor production budget requirements, participate in special event planning and event execution, and take over all culinary aspects of the unit when needed.
Requirements: Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience; 2 years of basic management experience; 2 years of basic functional experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
