Position: Events Manager
About: Bellevue College is seeking an Events Manager to oversee venue scheduling, contracts, and services for on-campus venue rentals. This includes managing all services needed for events in campus facilities, special events, and rentals of various spaces like parking lots, classrooms, and labs. The Events Manager supervises, recruits, and trains staff for event coordination and completion.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Hospitality Management or related field; at least 3 years of management experience in a large-scale event venue or hotel catering operations; at least 2 years of supervisory experience; effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and manage staff effectively; knowledge of local and state health regulations, event software, food safety practices, and Microsoft Office products.
