Position: Events Manager
About: Bellevue College’s Food Services department is currently seeking an experienced Events Manager to oversee venue scheduling, contracts, and services for on-campus venue rentals. The Events Manager will supervise and train staff for event coordination and ensure the seamless execution of various events and activities on campus.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Hospitality Management or related area; at least 3 years of management experience in a large-scale event venue or hotel catering operations; at least 2 years of experience supervising employees; effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and follow up on tasks; knowledge of local and state health regulations, event software scheduling, basic food and beverage preparations, food safety practices, and Microsoft Office products; must have King County Food Handler’s Permit within 14 days of hire and a valid Washington driver’s license.
