Position: Events Coordinator
About: The Mandel JCC of the Palm Beaches is seeking an Events Coordinator to work closely with the Arts & Culture Team and Special Needs Team, assisting in various events, memberships, registrations, and administrative tasks. The events range from author talks, film presentations, educational lectures, recitals, Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival, to the Inclusion Institute, and may be held in-person or virtually. This role involves member renewal, participant recruitment, event coordination, and support, requiring excellent phone and email communication skills.
Requirements: Must have at least 3+ years of relevant experience; High School Diploma or equivalent required; College Degree preferred; Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook competency; Demonstrable knowledge of Jewish history, tradition, culture preferred; Ability to cold call prospects; Strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and a great attitude; Experience with CRM system and online ticketing/event platforms; Flexibility with work hours and locations, including evenings and weekends; Reliable transportation required.
