Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of equivalent work experience preferred
- Current CPR and first aid certification
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Energetic, personable, enthusiastic, creative and imaginative
- Effective and empathetic communication skills
- Prior experience in managing staff and volunteers
Job Qualifications

- Prefer college degree in Recreation Therapy or Human Services
- Two years of equivalent work experience in the field
- Prior experience in small group socialization and creative programming for older adults preferred
- Prior experience in managing staff and volunteers
- Current CPR and first aid certification
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Job Duties
- Plan, implement and oversee the activities program for residents
- Create daily and monthly activities calendars appropriate for all care levels
- Encourage resident individuality, participation, and leadership in activities
- Establish and maintain community partnerships for joint programming
- Provide opportunities for residents to engage in volunteer projects
- Ensure that activities supplies are ordered and available
- Transport residents to various activities and events in the community
