The Restaurant Coordinator role at Atria Senior Living is a dynamic and rewarding position designed for individuals passionate about delivering excellent dining experiences and fostering strong community relations. This full-time position involves serving residents, guests, and family members with exceptional customer service while supporting management in the daily operations of the dining program. The Restaurant Coordinator is responsible for scheduling staff, training both new and experienced waitstaff, and resolving any resident or employee concerns to ensure satisfaction. In addition, this role requires collaboration with management to plan menus tailored to residents' needs and preferences, as well as introducing new residents to dining services to help them feel welcome. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or general education degree GED
  • minimum of 2 years dining room or restaurant waitstaff experience
  • knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
  • strong organizational and time-management skills
  • problem-solving abilities for dissatisfied customers and employees
  • experience in banquets or special event planning
  • basic computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • serve all customers residents guests and family members with top-level service
  • assist managers with scheduling waitstaff and keeping residents satisfied with dining programs
  • coach and train new and current waitstaff while fostering strong teamwork
  • acquaint new residents with dining questions and collaborate on menu planning
  • build positive and strong relationships with employees coworkers and residents
