The Event Manager role at White Lodging is a dynamic and vital position that serves as the key liaison between the sales teams and customers throughout the event planning and execution stages. This role is designed for a highly organized, communicative individual who can drive the successful execution of events, ensuring that customer expectations are met and exceeded. The Event Manager will be responsible for coordinating all operational aspects of events, ranging from initial planning and menu coordination to final billing and revenue forecasting. This position requires a proactive mindset focused on attention to detail and a service-oriented attitude, with a strong desire to create outstanding customer experiences.

In this role, the Event Manager will maximize revenue opportunities by identifying upsell enhancements while maintaining a smooth communication flow between sales, catering, banquet teams, and various operational departments. They will also be tasked with monthly forecasting for estimated food and beverage revenue and ensuring billing accuracy to maintain solid financial operations. Candidates will bring their skills and experience in sales, catering, or banquet services, although prior experience is beneficial but not mandatory. The position requires an individual who can reliably perform their duties, occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds, and who consistently maintains a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work reliably and consistently
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry practices preferred
  • Experience in sales, catering, or banquet operations preferred but not required
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and clients

Job Duties
