Position: Event Concierge

About: The iconic Waldorf Astoria property in New Orleans, The Roosevelt, is seeking an Event Concierge to join the Sales and Marketing Team. This luxury hotel offers an unparalleled combination of Southern hospitality, world-class service, and historic surroundings. The hotel is located near the French Quarter and within walking distance to the city’s most vibrant attractions and entertainment, including Jackson Square, Bourbon Street, and the Arts & Warehouse District. Embodying the rich heritage of Southern hospitality, this historic hotel features 504 rooms, over 60,000 square feet of meeting space, and five food and beverage outlets including 2 restaurants, a cafe, seasonal rooftop bar, and in-room dining. In this role, the Event Concierge will be responsible for event execution between the hotel and the customer during meeting events, acting as a liaison and ensuring successful coordination for future re-bookings.

Requirements: Minimum Education: High School Degree/GED; Minimum Years of Experience: one (1) year Hospitality related experience. Core competencies include Writing-Communicating effectively in writing, Reading Comprehension, Oral Comprehension, Basic Computer Skills, Customer and Personal Service, Number facility, Creativity. Management competencies include Adaptability, Building Trust, Communication, Customer focus, Empathy, High Work Standards, Planning and Organizing, Decision Making/Problem Solving, Stress Tolerance, Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills. Preferred Qualifications: CMP certification, Bachelor’s Degree.
