Requirements:
• At least 3 years of experience working as a Line Cook in an establishment where all food was made from scratch
• Passionate about real food prepared from scratch
• Quick thinker with problem-solving skills in fast-paced situations
• Leads by example and is willing to roll up sleeves and get involved
• Coachable, responsive to feedback, with a desire to improve and grow
• Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
• Able to provide clear, direct and respectful feedback, ensuring execution
• Organized and detail-oriented, able to plan ahead in a fast-paced environment
• Understands the fast pace of service in a fast-casual restaurant and how to deliver excellent quality food in that environment
• NYC DOH food handler’s certificate is required.
Physical requirements:
• Able to stand and/or walk for an entire shift
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Able to maintain close to constant communication with multiple individuals
• Able to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
• Able to bend and reach overhead often
• Must possess dexterity to handle tools and equipment ranging from small to large
