Position: Distribution Center Customer Service Associate
About: The job holder is responsible for performing various duties assigned by management at a company focused on automotive parts and services. Responsibilities include managing the annual store audit process, reviewing and correcting coding for bills from headquarters, processing incoming freight, handling financial transactions, investigating credit card disputes, and generating reports for accounts receivable. The role also involves maintaining accounts, providing customer service to stores, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and contracts. Regular filing and mail duties are expected to support the smooth operation of the office and fulfillment of orders. The position requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment, aligning with the company’s mission and vision.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent work experience required; 2 years+ of general office/clerical experience; 1 year of bookkeeping experience; familiarity with JD Edwards/PeopleSoft (AP/GL/Sales Order Entry/Customer Service Modules) is a plus. Must be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, be able to problem solve and make decisions, and have experience with various software applications and office equipment. Professional business etiquette and the ability to work in a team setting are essential.
