The Dishwasher and Prep Cook position in the Dietary Services department plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean kitchen environment and assisting with food preparation tasks to support the dietary team.
Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment, preferably in a long-term care or healthcare setting; Skills: Ability to operate and maintain dishwashing and kitchen equipment safely; Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately; Team player with excellent communication skills; Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods; Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching in a kitchen environment; Tolerance to temperature variations in hot and cold environments
