Position: Dishwasher job
About: Responsible for washing and cleaning tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment as well as all utility and/or maintenance duties in the restaurant as assigned. Key responsibilities include loading, running, and unloading the dishwashing machine, maintaining cleanliness of the dish machine, monitoring water temperature for sanitary wash cycle, washing and storing tableware and kitchenware, organizing the dish room, maintaining clean tableware levels, handling tableware carefully, maintaining adequate cleaning supplies, cleaning food preparation areas, and assisting in the smooth operation of the restaurant under supervision. Basic food preparation knowledge, previous experience in food preparation, and working in a restaurant, catering business, or hotel kitchen are preferred. High School diploma or GED preferred; eligibility to work in the United States is required.
