About: The Exchange, a renowned establishment in the culinary industry, is in search of a Sous Chef to serve as the second in command in their kitchen, working closely with the Executive Chef to maintain high standards of food quality and guest satisfaction.
Requirements: 4+ years of Restaurant Kitchen/BOH experience of increasing responsibility; Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures; Excellent record of kitchen and staff management; Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions; Familiar with industry’s best practices; Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS); Culinary degree preferred or equivalent work experience; ServSafe certified or ability to become certified; Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time; Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
