Position: Dishwasher job
About: Corner Bakery is looking for a Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join their team. In addition to washing dishes, pots, and pans, the role involves baking cookies, cakes, and breads, as well as prepping Panini and other foods under the direction of the store Manager. The position also includes tasks such as cleaning, assisting with food preparation, and interacting with guests in a friendly manner. Secondary functions may include serving attendant duties, custodial tasks as required, bussing tables, and light maintenance responsibilities.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent or in pursuit of the same; completion of CBC driver training, passing a MVR according to CBC standards, and maintaining a valid driver’s license with insurance; state Foodhandler card/ServSafe certification as applicable; minimum of 3 months’ work experience in a guest service capacity, preferably in a restaurant or retail environment; strong guest service and communication skills; ability to understand and follow cleaning procedures; must be able to understand English
