About: Harbor’s Edge is a premier 5-star, resort-style Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located alongside the beautiful harbor in Norfolk, Virginia. The community consists of 300 Independent Living Residential Units, a 33-bed (Medicare/private) Skilled Nursing Healthcare Unit, a 40-bed Assisted Living Unit, and 34-bed Memory Support Unit. We are seeking hardworking, self-motivated, and flexible team players to support the Dining and Catering Department’s mission of delivering top-notch, quality service to our residents. The Dishwasher position entails washing and sanitizing dishes, cookware, food carts, and food preparation equipment, as well as maintaining sanitary conditions throughout the kitchen and work area by ensuring cleanliness of walls and floors and regular trash disposal.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a long-term care environment preferred; exceptional customer service skills; positive and cheerful demeanor
